117.) The control and participation of the Canandaigua Treaty commemoration on November 11, 2025, by the Bureau of Indian Affairs(BIA) elective government of the Seneca Nation of Indians signals yet another possible attempt by the SNI to overthrow the Haudenosaunee Confederacy. And SNI's participation could possibly derail their own lawsuit against New York State for the NYS Thurway crossing their land without payment.

The Seneca Nation of Indians is a BIA agency and not a part of the Haudenossunee Confederacy. SNI voluntarily abandoned the Haudenosaunee Confederacy in 1848. The BIA-SNI has never been a part of the Haudenosaunee Confederacy.

The Canandaigua Treaty of 1794 was made with the Haudenosaunee Confederacy, also known historically as "The Six Nations".

The Bureau of Indian Affairs-Seneca Nation of  Indians was created by the United States government in 1848. 54 years after the signing of the Canandaigua treaty.

Not known if this has happened at prior commemorations: When the president of the Seneca nation of Indians, which is a Bureau of Indian Affairs- elected government, participated in this commemoration of 2025. Both, the president of the Seneca Nation of Indians and a Seneca Nation of Indians counselor from Allegheny, were the only ones to speak at this commemoration regarding the treaty. These two BIA officials spoke of their ownership, acceptance, and usage of the Canandaigua Treaty.

Also present at this commemoration was an aide to Congresswoman Claudia Tenney, a Republican member of the House of Representatives, of the US government. This aide said on behalf of congresswoman Claudia Tenney, he is presenting to the leadership present, a Congressional Proclamation regarding the Canandaigua Treaty. He gave a copy of this congressional proclamation directly to the BIA- Seneca Nation of Indians president. Not to any Haudenosaunee Chiefs present. During the speech by the aide of congresswoman Claudia Tenney, the aide constantly referred to the Indians present as "tribal nations". In reference to all Indians being present, at this commemoration, as being members on the "list of recognized BIA tribal nations" of United States government and New York State.

The Haudenosaunee Confederacy is not on the list of "recognized BIA tribal nations", because the Confederacy is a sovereign
nation.

Immediate internet search of said congressional proclamation was: none found. It may be too new to have been registered for current Internet searches. Let us watch for this congressional proclamation to appear on the Internet for its content and language used.

The only Haudenosaunee Chiefs present were from The Tonawanda Seneca nation and the Tuscarora nation, and none gave a speech, but only stood by silently. It appeared that all were in full agreement to the events that unfolded during this commemoration. The announcer from the Seneca Nation of Indians also told the crowd that a representative from the Ononadaga Nation was there.

It will be up to Individual Haudenosaunee members of the Tonawanda Seneca Nation and the Tuscarora nation to decide what to do, if anything, about the situation that publicly occurred in front of everyone present, at the 2025 Canandaigua Treaty commemoration.

It will be up to the Chiefs and people of the Haudenosaunee Confederacy, of what to do, if anything, about this situation that publicly occurred in front of everyone present, at the 2025 Canandaigua Treaty commemoration.

In 1994, a historical marker was placed at the Canandaigua County building to recognize the Canandaigua Treaty. Here is a quote from that historical marker:

"1794-1994 Solemn agreements were renewed between the United States of America and the Haudenosaunee (Six Nations of Indians), USA. Representative congresswoman Louise Slaughter conveyed a message, by letter from the president, William Jefferson Clinton, acknowledging the momentous commemoration of the treaty. The Todoaho, Chief Leon Shenandoah responded with his hopes that this treaty will endure for years to come."

The Haudenosaunee Chiefs present were also listed on this historical marker, as follows:

"Chief Leon Shenandoah, Onondaga. Chief Irving Powless, Ononadaga. Chief Bernard Parker, Seneca. Chief Jake Swamp, Mohawk. Chief Leo Henry, Tuscarora. Chief Vernon Isaac, Cayuga. Chief Louis Farmer, Ononadaga. Chief Stanley Buck. Seneca. Chief Emerson Webster, Seneca."

All of the Haudenosaunee Chiefs listed on this 1994 historical marker, were condoled, Haudenosaunee Chiefs. No BIA officials listed.
Read blog article 72, for president Clinton's complete letter.

As you can see, there is not any way possible that the BIA-Seneca of Indians, or elected BIA Seneca nation of Indians president can be associated with this list of Haudenosaunee Chiefs. Or can in anyway, have a legal interest in the Canandaigua treaty.

"In 1848:
The Seneca Nation gave up its traditional confederacy system and established a new elected government." (This quote is from open research on the Internet.)

This means that the Seneca Nation of Indians (SNI) completely abandoned the Haudenosaunee Confederacy, and the Canandaigua Treaty in 1848. And became part of the Bureau of Indian Affairs, United States government. Thereby voluntarily relinquishing their sovereignty to become a "tribal nation" of the BIA. When the US government uses the term, "tribal nation" it means those Indians are no longer recognized as sovereign.

The Haudenosaunee Confederacy is a sovereign nation to this day and will always remain so, forever.

The BIA- Seneca Nation of Indians permanently gave up their 8 Haudenosaunee Chief titles when they abandoned the Haudenosaunee Confedracy. SNI traded these chief titles for an elected BIA President and 16 elected counselor positions, split between the BIA Territories at Cattaragus and Allegheny.

In 1848, the Seneca Nations of Indians completely abandoned forever, the Canandaigua Treaty and their rights and recognition as a member of the Haudenosaunee Confederacy. There is no way in 2025 that the BIA Seneca Nation of Indians can now claim ownership and exercise use of this treaty. It is illegal under treaty law. It's that simple.

There now apprars to be a clear and present danger to The Canandaigua Treaty, if this situation is left unchecked. Here is the full passage of Article II. of the Canandaigua Treaty, to further explain.

"Article II.
The United States acknowledge the lands reserve to the Oneida, Ononadaga, and Cayuga Indians, and their respective treaties with the state of New-York, and called their reservations, to be their property; and the United States will never claim the same, nor disturb them or either of the Six Nations, nor their Indian friends, residing thereon and united with them, in the free use and enjoyment thereof: but the said reservation shall remain theirs until they choose to sell the same to the people of the United States, who have the right to purchase."

The Seneca Nation of Indians, being a recognized BIA tribal government, gives the BIA Representive, who is the Seneca Nation president, full and complete power to make secret legally binding agreements with the US government, including the sale of land. The president of the Seneca Nation of Indians can do this without consent or knowledge of the BIA- Seneca Nation of Indian people or the "Six Nation people", meaning the Chiefs and people of the Haudenosaunee Confederacy. The Canandaigua Treaty, as of Novenber 11, 2025 could very well be in danger of being nullified by the president of the BIA- Seneca Nation of Indians.

The late Haudenosaunee Confederacy Chief of the Onondaga Nation-Vincent Johnson said that during a visit to Washington, when President Reagan was in office, a Haudenosaunee delegation met with the personal attorney of President Reagan, who was William Barr. The first thing William Barr said to the delegation was that the US government wants to do away with the Canandaigua Treaty and wanted the Haudenosaunee delegation to agree with this. The Haudenosaunee delegation immediately disagreed, and said they will not even discuss it. That's how important this treaty is to the US government.

And now it appears that the BIA elected president of the Seneca Indians of Indians, can choose to unilaterally sell Indian land to the people of the United States, who have the sole right to purchase this Indian land. As so stipulated in Article II, of the Canandaigua Treaty of 1794.

Currently, it appears that there are no checks and balances to stop this, and other dangerous scenarios from happening or may have already happened.

The BIA- Seneca Nations of Indians cannot masquerade and dress itself up as the Haudenosaunee Confederacy or represent itself as part of the Confederacy.

The language of this treaty and all treaties can also refer to the Haudenosaunee Confederacy as "the Six Nations". Throughout all historical documents, this is a standard and universally accepted legal interpretation.

When the Seneca Nation of Indians abandoned and completely separated from the Haudenosaunee Confederacy, and became a "tribal Indian nation" of the US government, under the Bureau of Indian Affairs, they also left all confederacy rights behind. SNI choose to leave the Circle of the Haudenosaunee Confederacy, and place themselves in the circle of the Bureau of Indian Affairs. This is what SNI did to themselves in 1848.

Also, with the Seneca Nation of Indians illegally attending the Canandaigua Treaty of 2025, they may have unwittingly jeopardized their lawsuit against New York State for the New York State Thruway crossing their land without, their perceived belief of payment.

Article V. of the Canandaigua Treaty clearly stipulates free passage for the people of the United States through their lands. Here is the complete Article V. from the Canandaigua Treaty.

"Article V. The Seneka nation, all others of the Six Nations concurring, cede to the United States, the right of making a waggon road from Fort Schlosser to Lake Erie, as far south as Buffaloe Creek; and the people of the United States shall have the free and undisturbed use of this road, for the purposes of traveling and transportation. And the Six Nations, and each of them, will forever allow to the people of the United States, a free passage through their lands, and the free use of the harbors and rivers adjoining and within their respective tracks of land, for the passage and securing a vessel and boat, and liberty to land, their cargoes were necessary for their safety."

The language of the treaty couldn't be any clearer. And with SNI officially participating in this treaty commemoration, it would appear that they may have voided their own lawsuit against New York State, as so stated in Article V. of the Canandaigua Treaty

This blog article was simply a report on events that occurred in full public view, at the Canandaigua Treaty commemoration on November 11, 2025.

This commemoration event may have very well been the coming out party for the new "BIA confederacy" in New York State, facilitated by the BIA-Seneca Nation of Indians.

Here is a brief timeline that you might find of interest. It may very well show the beginning stages of the new "BIA confederacy" in New York State.

2016: Sept 29-30, US federal judges and New York State judges meet to complete the US-NYS tribal court system to be implemented on all indian territories in New York State. It is called the Second Listening Conference. Included in the implementation of this tribal court system is the Ononadaga nation, the Tonawanda Seneca nation and The Tuscarora nation. The idea of this US NYS tribal court system began to surface around 2005. Read blog article 53.

2017: it is found out in 2023 that a Haudenosaunee Confedrracy Chief is listed in the Bureau of Indian Affairs Leaders website as being "Elected December 1, 2017". No, Haudenosaunee Chief is ever elected. Never.

2022: June 29, New York State, Governor Hochul convenes Historic indigenous nations Summit in Albany. Numerous agreements completed with individual Haudenosaunee nations, not the Haudenosaunee Confederacy. And these agreements have never been discussed or agreed to in Grand Council of the Haudenosaunee Confederacy. You can view these agreements in Governor Hochul's official NYS website. Look for the photo section and see what individuals were there. Listed in attendance is the:
Cayuga nation
Oneida nation
Onondaga nation
Tonawanda band of Seneca
Tuscarora nation
Saint Regis Mohawk tribe
Shinnecock nation
Unkechaug nation.
Noticed that the Seneca Nation of Indians is not included on this list. And let us remember how the six arrows must always be bound tightly together. For if the arrows are unbound and apart, each arrow individually can be easily broken.

2025: March 31, The BIA Seneca Nations of Indians, issue a press release on their official website, in capital letters, of the first, historic Summit meeting of Indian nations in New York State. Listed in attendance is the:
Cayuga nation
Oneida nation
Onondaga nation
Tonawanda band of Senecas
Tuscarora nation
Saint Regis Mohawk tribe
Shinnecock nation
The Seneca nation of Indians put out a press release of their historic summit on their website, but they quickly removed it. Again, the Haudenosaunee Confederacy was not aware of this "SNI historic Summit", taking place, or of the participation of the Haudenosaunee nations or representative individuals. Read blog article 111.

2025: May, New York State governor Kathy Hochul makes an in person visit to the BIA-Seneca Nation of Indians. The governor apologizes to the Seneca Nation of Indians for the New York State- Thomas Indian residential school. For all its "ideology and atrocities" that were committed by the State of New York, against the Seneca children and other Native American children who attended the residential schools.

2025: November 11, The BIA Seneca Nation of Indians organizes and are sole speakers at the 2025 Canandaigua Treaty commemoration.

Also at this 2025 Canandaigua, Treaty commemoration,, Timothy Pickering, a direct descendent of the Timothy Pickering, who signed this treaty in 1794, was present and gave a speech. After the event was over, I shook his hand and thanked him for coming. And a woman who was with him, asked me how do you say in Indian language- "We all agree". I told her what the Haudenosaunee Chiefs say in council when they all agree to a decision, which is "sky watt", which means that all the chiefs agree. I bring this up because all BIA -tribal nation do not have equality among leadership, as there is only one BIA recognized official making all the decisions. And in the case of the BIA-Seneca Nation of Indians, that single person making all the decisions is the president of the BIA-Seneca Nation of Indians. So there can never be any "sky watt" at the BIA-Seneca Nation  of Indians. Read blog articles 54 and 56.

Unknown if any of the non-indigenous people present at this commemoration, understood what was unfolding right before them.

Finally, the winds are whispering that a BIA tribal nation in New York State, has appointed a BIA clanmother. And another BIA tribal nation in New York State, Is considering making BIA Chiefs. Could this be the preparation needed for the anticipated new "BIA confederacy" in New York State.

As always, these articles are written as a starting point for discussion in your circle. Only people who tell the truth I retaliated against.

It is a longhouse teaching that: if you know something and do not tell the people, there is a punishment for that.
