119.) This is a Public Notice that the matriarchal, Longboat family's Haudenosaunee adoption of Paul Williams has been revoked. For identity clarification, Paul Williams is the author of the book, titled: "Kayanerenko:wa The Great Law of Peace by Kayanesenh Paul Williams". (2 min. read)
This book was rejected by the Haudenosaunee Confederacy Chiefs Council at Grand River, and the Grand Council of the Haudenosaunee Confederacy. Paul Williams has been barred from attending Grand Council of the Haudenosaunee Confederacy for decades.
The Haudenosaunee Chiefs were officially notified of the revocation of Paul Williams adoption into my family on Wednesday, August 13, 2025. Paul Williams was officially notified of the revocation of his adoption the next day, on Thursday, August 14, 2025. At this time, Paul Williams acknowledged the revocation of his adoption from my families matriarchal line, with witnesses present.
It is Haudenosaunee protocol that when an adoption is revoked, the individual can never claim the adoption or use the Indian name of adoption, again. And the Indian name used for that adoption, is said to be "burnt", and is never to be used by anyone again.
An adoption is sacred, and it is not to be spoken of. And it is not to be used, for example: to promote oneself for academic fame or monetary gain. It never carries the weight of being an "expert" of Haudenosaunee teachings, beliefs and protocols.
It was a sad day when Paul Williams's adoption from my family was revoked, but a necessary day. It is the families's responsibility.
The family has recently become aware that Paul Williams is still promoting and claiming his adoption and Indian name, even though he is aware that the adoption has been revoked. This shows a complete lack of Haudenosaunee knowledge, on Paul Williams part.
Hence, the necessity for this Public Notice. It is unfortunate that this Public Notice has become necessary, for the family to find peace.
All questions regarding this Public Notice are hereby directed to the Grand Council of the Haudenosaunee Confederacy.
