6.) Read this quote by Ralphael Lemkin, who invented the word "Genocide"(1 min read)
Ralphael Lemkin invented the word "Genocide" during World War II. As you read this quote, I would ask that you think about what the Canadian government has done and is still doing to the Indigenous people and their children of Canada. See how many Canadian government genocidal plans and laws against Canada's Indigenous people and their children, you can identify by this quote.
Ralphael Lemkin said in 1944- "The object of such a plan would be disintegration of the political and social institutions, of culture, language, national feelings, religion and the economic existence of national groups, and the destruction of personal security, liberty, health, dignity and even the lives of the individuals belonging to such groups."
For a long time, indigenous people in Canada have been misled as to what genocide really is. This has been purposefully done by individuals sent by the Canadian government to infiltrate the Indigenous Nations and keep the indigenous people quiet about what was being done to them. This is part of the indoctrination necessary for genocide to continue and succeed.
This Ralphael Lemkin quote is from a newspaper article I just found a few days ago in the: USNews dated june 4,2021. The title of the article is: Canada's blind spot on recognizing genocide, by David MacDonald.
Interestingly, Ralphael Lempkin relates that the killing of people is the last phase of genocide. What happened when the Europeans first came to the Americas, was quite the opposite. The killing of the indigenous people was the first phase of the genocide, and has never stopped and is still continuning to this day and will into the future. It will continue this way until the Canadian people understand what their government is doing to the Indigenous people and their children.
