5.) It is more than wrong to blame all Indigenous people for the "Church burnings" without proof, it is in fact Genocide. Learn what the definition of Genocide actually is. (5 min read)
UPDATE, May 15 2023. Blaming indigenous people for the church burnings without any proof is Genocide under the "United Nations Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crimes of Genocide- Article III, (e): Direct and public incitement to commit genocide. And under Article II, such action could result in the (a) "killing of the members of the group", and will (b) "causing seriously bodily or mental harm to members of the group; and (c) deliberately inflicting on the group conditions of life calculated to bring about its physical destruction and whole or in part".
And it is a violation of UNDRIP/Bill C15, Article 8-2 States shall provide effective mechanisms for prevention of, and redress for: (e) any form of propaganda designed to promote or incite racial or ethnic discrimination directed against them (indigenous people)
(read Article 33.- The following is the United Nations complete "Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crimes of Genocide" document. And read Articles 40a, 40b and 40c- UNDRIP/Bill C15.
The following article is proof for the charge of genocide against this news program and the government official quoted in the news broadcast.(end update)
Again, this is not an attack on a religion. It is describing what is happening now, today.
A TV show on a Christian Broadcasting channel in Canada said the "Church burnings" are being committed by Indigenous people. And interviews people in positions of power to reinforce and confirm the guilt of the indigenous people without proof.
A Canadian government spokesperson officially releases a statement that states "it's understandable" about the church burning being commited by the indigenous people. Again, guilt without proof.
When in fact, most if not all of these arson crimes go unsolved. All of this is being said without arrests, trials and convictions to legally prove who is actually doing the church burnings.
These two sources are saying- who else could it be, you know how those people are. This shows what they truely think about Indigenous People at this moment in time. These are examples of the continuation of the Genocide that Canada commits against Indigenous people and their children.
These two sources may believe they have done nothing wrong. If this is true, it is this type of indoctrination and brainwashing that allows genocide to continue. This description is the correct terminology to use in describing this type of genocide.
First: it's labeling indigenous people guilty of the church burnings without proof. The Christian TV station or the Canadian government never blame an entire group of people in Canada for any types of crimes in this manner. It is more than irrepondsible reporting to do this, it is more than racism, it is a pattern of genocide. It is saying all Indigenous people are guilty of this criminal thinking and all Indigenous people are capable of being criminals. This is genocide. Again, turning the minds of Canadian people against all Indigenous people, as being criminals or capable of being criminals. This is done to no other group or minority in Canada. This is only done to the Indigenous people of Canada. This is part of the indoctrination process I speak of in reference to Canada's genocide against Indigenous people and their children. President Trump did same thing to the Mexican people. He said- Mexicans are murders and rapists and I suppose a few are good people.
What does the indigenous child think when they see this on TV? The Indigenous child sees: one source, a Christian Broadcasting channel and the other source, a Canadian government official, both speaking about the church burnings as being done by Indigenous people. The Indigenous child is indoctrinated into thinking that their parents and their Indigenous people, are bad people. The Indigenous people must be bad, the church and the government are saying it, so it must be true- this is how a child thinks. Are Indigenous children now in a different kind of "Residental School"? A "Residental School without walls"? This is how genocide is carried out. The Indigenous people are guilty without any proof. Again, this is not done to any other group or minority in Canada. Canada only commits this type of genocide against the Indigenous people of Canada.
Secondly: this type of irrespondsible news reporting and official government statements will incite more physical violence and crimes against all Indigenous people and their children, wherever this "hate speech" is heard. Speaking of which, have you ever heard the term "terrorism" used when a horrible crime is committed against Indigenous people or their children? Has it ever been reported in the Canadian news or by politicians that the Residential Schools were "terrorism"? Yet when any other minority group is attacked by violence, it can be immediately labeled "terrorism" by the Media and Canadian politicians and a "hate crime" charge will follow. It is correct to label such violence "terrorism" with a "hate crime" charge. But violence against indigenous people is never labeled "terrorism." At least I have never heard violence against indigenous people called "terrorism." It is even rare that law enforcement will prosecute crimes of physical violence and property damage against indigenous people as "hate crimes". The media and government rarely label violence against indigenous people and their children as "hate crimes" let alone label it "terrorism". Especially when it is the Canadian government that is committing the violence and terrorism of their genocidal plans. This type of reporting, labeling and charging of crimes is called "Selective Enforcement". Canada still does not consider Indigenous People to be human beings.
Thirdly, labeling all indigenous people as being respondsible for the church burnings will create non-indigenous copycat criminals to commit more Church burnings, intending it to look like indigenous people are burning more churches. The non-indigenous criminal will see this as an opportunity to create more hatred towards indigenous people and their children. And it will be successful, as it will be most certainly reported to the canadian public by at least these two sources.
There are many more subtle forms and dynamics of discrimnation, racism and genocide that are generated by this type of "hate speech."
Lastly, no matter who is responsible for the church burnings, no Indigenous Nations in Canada approves of this. A Six-Nation Longhouse woman said it is our teachings that say: if someone burns a house or building, it is the same as if that person is burning a human being.
