 This statement is being issued by the immediate family of Tom Longboat, the fame Haudenosaunee  runner. The family will not participate in the Tom Longboat Run on Six Nations Haudenosaunee Territory, June 4, 2025.The six nation "elected band council" is the organizer of this run.

This is due to the societal catastrophe that the six nations "elected band council's" cannabis industry, has inflicted upon the people, children, and future generations of Six Nations.

The six nations "elected band council" is solely responsible for this societal catastrophe of death, drugs, overdoses, organized crime, human/sex  trafficking and other types of related crimes, now occurring on Six Nations territory. All the result of six nations, "elected bank councils" implementation of their "cannabis industry" on Six Nations Haudenosaunee Territory.

Just yesterday, I heard the emotional pleas of the Mohawk elder Tom Porter, talking about the same dire situation of death and destruction occurring among the Mohawks at Akwesasne territory. This elder spoke of a "civil war" coming.

This same situation is occurring all across Canada. And it is also the same in the U.S., as a product of the "BIA tribal".

Consider just the overdose deaths, alone. It not only affects the individual, but many young people leave behind single parent families or no parents to care for the children. 

"The Creator cares for the children the most."

Tom longboat was a Longhouse person. 

Tom Longboat was Haudenosaunee Confedrracy.

To ignore this human catastrophe, which carries the elements of genocide, would be to make one's self complicit in this ongoing human catastrophe.

"you, the individual have choices to make"

The immediate family of Tom Longboat will no longer participate in, endorse or allow the use of Tom Longboat's name in any activities sponsored by any "band councils", not just six nations "elected band council". Failure to observe this ban will show the complete disregard and lack of understanding of who exactly Tom Longboat was and what his messages is. 

"elected band councils" actions regarding this ban will reveal their understanding of the true message that the name Tom Longboat carries  

It is with deep regret, but this action is absolutely necessary with the current situation of this ongoing societal catastrophe.

Tom Longboat would never ignore this, or allow his name to be used under these dire circumstances.

The people of Six Nations will overcome this as a whole, just as Tom Longboat overcame all the obstacles put in his path, during his lifetime.

ATTENTION SIX NATIONS AT GRAND RIVER TERRITORY: The same type of illegal "tribal court" that the Cayuga People in New York State are struggling with now, is being quietly and quickly maneuvered into place to control and then forcefully assimilate the Six Nations People at Grand River Territory. The future of the grandchildren is at stake. Six Nation people must stop this "tribal court" now, or they will end up like the Cayuga People of New York State, only worse.
