21.)RUBBER BULLETS and the MILITARY- that's how Indigenous People protesting with their children present are handled by the Canadian government and law enforcement.(10 min read)
What you are now seeing is evidence, in real time, of what happens when mostly WHITE CANADIAN citizens are protesting with their children present-NO MILITARY. NO RUBBER BULLETS.
How these "trucker" protests are being handled by the Canadian Government is very different from indigenous protests with or without children present. At Indigenous protests, the MILITARY is staged close by, weapons at the ready.
This article is not taking a side for any of the protests that have occured. This article is exposing the illegal practice of SELECTIVE ENFORCEMENT of canadian law and how the Canadian government handles protests by Indigenous People with or without their children, verses how the Canadian government handles protests by mostly white Canadians with or without their children.
Canadian politicians, Canadian Media, and law enforcement we're all concerned about the safety of the mostly white children who were present at these recent "trucker" protests in Ottawa and the Ambassador Bridge. Almost every day, concern for the safety of these children at these protests, were expressed in the media- by politicians, the media and law enforcement. And rightly so, anytime children are involved, the safety of children should and must be the number one concern of all law enforcement actions.
EXCEPT, WHEN THOSES CHILDREN, ARE INDIGENOUS CHILDREN. I have never heard a single one of these same canadian politicians, the canadian media or law enforcement, ever speak of the dangers to indigenous children present at an indigenous protest. Have you?
Recently, in the last Caledonia, Ontario, Indigenous protest, there were Indigenous CHILDREN present, when law enforcement reportedly opened fire with RUBBER BULLETS at the Indigenous Protesters and their CHILDREN. Soon after this occurred, two police officers in a marked police car, parked close to the indigenous protest site and baited two indigenous males to approach the police car and throw rocks at the vehicle and cracked the windshield. All the while, the two police officers just sat in the marked unit and videotaped this. This is uncommon police behavior, but was necessary behavior, to create a false video of a staged, seemingly unprovoked attack on the police, by the protesters. This OFFICIAL police tape was given to the local media to falsely show this seemingly unprovoked attack by six-nation protesters. No mention, that the rock throwing was in DIRECT RESPONCE to law enforcement shooting RUBBER BULLETS at indigenous protesters, WOMEN and CHILDREN. Any reasonable person, with full knowledge of this incident, can clearly see that this was a SETUP by the Canadian government and law enforcement. The subsequent OFFICAL police tape, showing only two protesters throwing rocks at police cars would be given to the Canadian media, while the firing of rubber bullets at the the indigenous protest with children present, seemed to not be spoken of, or revealed by the police.
It was a "setup", plain and simple.
This episode is presented here, in the hopes that people will come forward with direct knowledge and proof to further investigate, determine, and provide the evidence necessary to call for a Official Inquiry. Perhaps sworn depositions by government agents would need to be attained and file a "ACCESS TO INFORMATION ACT" (ATIA) form with the canadian government to legally aquire all the information the government has on this "illegal police action". This was not the idea of the two officers in the police car. This type of premeditated, inflammatory "police set up", can only come from the politicians and top law enforcement officials involved. The World needs to know what the Canadian government continually does to the Indigenous People of Canada.
If the Canadian government is willing to do a "set up like this", what wouldn't the government do to destroy the indigenous people of Canada? How many tragedies and near tragedies, have to occur before something is done, to call attention to what the Canadian government routinely does to indigenous people.
Are there students out there looking for subjects for a thesis paper? Is there a law class, looking for a class project, perhaps even a four-year project? How about a documentary? File a "ACCESS TO INFORMATION ACT" (ATIA) form.
These rubber bullet shootings would have to been done with law enforcements full knowledge, that indigenous children were present at the protest site, through their own continous police surveillance.
You are seeing what SELECTIVE ENFORCEMENT OF CANADIAN LAW AGAINST INDIGENOUS PEOPLE AND THEIR CHILDREN looks like, as so ordered by the Canadian politicians, and high level law enforcement officials, from the top- down. All in violation of Bill C-15. Exposing this, would be evidence for SELECTIVE ENFORCEMENT against indigenous people by the Canadian government.
"SELECTIVE ENFORCEMENT" IS ILLEGAL.
Next, THE MILITARY is called in for Indigenous People protests. This is standard procedure. The military is never called in for mostly white Canadian citizens protesting, as you have now seen proof of this, in Ottawa and at The Ambassador Bridge. This is what is happening right now, before your very eyes and ears. "Look at what is there."
At indigenous protests, you may or may not see the MILITARY, but they are there. Secreted, at a staging area close by, at the ready with automatic weapons in hand. Sometimes you see them riding around in big black, suburban SUVs, in full military gear, body armour, with automatic weapons in hand. There are eyewitness accounts of this, not only by Indigenous people, but also by Canadian citizens. You can go back decades and decades, where the MILITARY is deployed at indigenous protests. Take your pick from Six Nations Territories, the list goes on and on. At one indigenous persons home, there was a TANK parked in her backyard. Yes a TANK, not an armored personnel carrier, a TANK parked in her backyard. Army tents were set up on this Sovereign Six Nations territory.
The United States and Canada do the same thing when dealing with indigenous people and their children- they deploy the military. The MILTARY has only one objective: KILL.
1978, at "The Longest Walk" Washington, D.C. I recently heard from a Six Nations citizen who was there, standing on the steps of the Lincoln Monument listening to the speeches being made, he looked to his one side and there standing next to him, was Muhammad Ali. He told me of how he went looking for a bathroom in the basement. He found a bathroom, but he also found soldiers, standing shoulder-to-shoulder in the basement area with rifles in hand. At the ready, standing all through the basement. This is how Canada and the U.S. deal with indigenous people. MILITARY- always at the ready with automatic weapons- to kill. How would Canadian citizens like to be dealing with that their whole lives? Yet another factor of genocide, that the government continually forces into indigenous people lives. This contributes to the continued historical trauma, PTSD, and the fear that terrorism instills upon indigenous peoples psyche. These are the correct words and terminology to use.
Have you noticed that no media mentioned of how the indigenous people protesters are treated differently from the mostly white Canadian protesters? Glaring, yet no mention of this in the Canadian media. How is this possible? It is omitted purposely, there can be no other explanation.
Now a history lesson, as to why police departments were first invented in England, in the early 1800's. First and foremost, the Army is only trained to kill the enemy. That is all the Army is trained to do- KILL. The Army is not trained in a "Force Continum" as is taught in the Police Academy. The "Force Continum" is where you start out using minimal force as in "talking in a normal voice to get the person to comply" and escalates in progressive steps, into "physical" and even "deadly physical force" as the final step of the "Force Continuum."
What follows is taught in police academies and you may have a difficult time finding this on the internet. In the early 1800s, there were numerous labor strikes in England. There were no Police Department's, only the army/military existed in England. The UK government called in army troops to stop a labor strike. The Army went in and simply shot and killed the protesters. This is the only training, military personnel receive, kill the enemy as quickly and efficiently as possible. After this government back massacre of UK citizens, the public and government condemned it. Out of this abject horror of the protesters being killed, Robert Peel developed a new idea: the Police Department. It was designed to be unarmed police officers or "Bobbies" (nick name for Robert) and trained to peacefully police UK citizens. The Army was not to EVER be called into another citizen protest again. The newly created police department was the only force to be used in all dealings with the public citizens from that point forward. This is why the Police are trained to de-escalate, mediate and find peaceful solutions through a "force continuum". End of Police Academy lesson.
This event in the UK in the 1800's, is the reason why Canada will not call the military in for Canadian citizens protesting today.
The following quotes are by Canadian politicians, the Canadian media, and law enforcement at the recent Ottawa "trucker" protest and Ambassador Bridge protest. All while mostly white children were present.
Starting with a CBC reporter Janine Chianello on trucker protest- " they have children in there and you don't want to go in guns blazing". "...laws- Army used only in National Emergency. "
The rest of the quotes are from numerous sources-National Observer, Hindustan times, BBC News, Bloomberg News, CBCNews, Citynews.
" prime minister Trudeau is playing down the notion of a military response to the ongoing Ottawa protests..."
" there are constitutional requirements and how to intervene in local jurisdictions "
Trudeau- "one has to be very, very cautious before deploying military in situations engaging Canadians" not something to "enter into lightly"
Trudeau invokes federal "Emergencies Act" to increase law enforcement presence and increase use of law enforcement but will not see the military deployed
"Critics have noted that Prime Minister voiced support for farmers in India who blocked major highways to New Delhi for a year in 2021, saying at the time " Canada will always be there to defend the right of peaceful protest."
"Ottawa Police have said repeatedly the presence of children was making it difficult for officers to enforce the law, fearing clashes with protesters could put kids at risk."

February 18th, police say they have a plan to protect the safety of children at protest, with use of increased law enforcement action
Doug Ford expresses deep concern of children being hurt at protest with increased law enforcement action
"One of the times the Canadian military has been brought in to assist with domestic law enforcement was the October crisis in 1970, when a Quebec Separatist group kidnapped a British Trade Commissioner and then kidnapped and killed a Provincial Cabinet Minister." Pierre Trudeau was p.m. at the time and when asked how far he will go, he famously replied "Just watch me."
End of quotes by canadian politicians, media and law enforcement, regarding the mostly white Canadian "truckers" protesters with their children present, recently in Ottawa and at The Ambassador Bridge.
You have never heard quotes of "concern for children", like those listed above, by the same Canadian politicians, media and law enforcement at Indigenous protests with Children present. There is never a concern for Indigenous Children at protest sites. This point needs to continually be talked about. This is "selective enforcement". It is illegal.
Let's go back to that last quote about one of the few times the Canadian military was called in, Quebec- October 1970. Look at how high the bar is set for the Canadian government to send in the MILITARY against their own citizens. A British Trade Commissioner had to be kidnapped, and then a second kidnapping of a Provincial Cabinet Minister had to occur with his MURDER. That's two kidnappings and a murder, before the MILITARY is called in against Canadian citizens. But when indigenous people are protesting, absolutely nothing has to occur before the MILITARY is called in. Again, this is called "selective enforcement" and it is illegal.
The only thing the military is trained to do is kill.
Last week, something very interesting came out of this "trucker" protest. Prime minister Trudeau's statements, unintendedly gave concrete proof that Six-Nation people and Indigenous Nations across Canada are in fact, not Canadian citizens. Six-Nation people are Citizens of Six Nations, not citizens of Canada. By not deploying the Army against Canadian citizens and always deploying the Army against Six Nations citizens, is in fact- official recognition, confirmed by Canadian law, that Canada officially recognizes the Six-Nation Confederacy as a separate and distinct Nation from Canada. As Bill C-15 guarantees.
A Citizen of Six Nation must sign an official Canadian form to give up their Six Nations Citizenship to become a Canadian Citizen. Thereby giving up all their treaty rights, as just a starting point. They become tax-paying Canadian citizen, under the jurisdiction of all Canadian laws, including foreclosure of their home and property for failure to pay their taxes.
When a Six Nations Citizen gives up their Six-Nation Citizenship, it's only after signing the form, that the Canadian government may say they can never go back to being a Six-Nation Citizen again. The Canadian government states that this process is irreversible. That person's rights under the Six Nations Citizenship and Confederacy are extinguished forever. But they never tell the six-nation citizen about this, before the government has them sign away their Six Nations citizenship. But this all must be done with "Informed Consent" or the process is invalid. Over the years, the Canadian government has tricked some Six Nations citizens into giving up their citizenship this way, without telling them the consequences, before they sign. Yet again, another official genocidal policy that is not discussed much. These Six Nation people must also be made whole and receive financial restitution.
If you vote in Canadian government elections, you are giving up your rights as a six nations citizen, with or without "informed consent". Band council elections are in fact Canadian government elections. Remember- a citizen cannot hold a treaty with its own government, this is international law.
What is offered here for your consideration, is as always, just the tip of the iceberg of what the Canadian government is continually doing to the Six Nation people and the Indigenous People across Canada. It is 2022.
