23.) My mom said it is Six Nations Oral Tradition: during the Revolutionary War, soldiers raped Indian Women, cut their breasts off and grabbed the Indian Babies by their ankles and whipped them around to smash their heads against tree trunks.(20 min read)
During The Revolutionary War in 1779, George Washington ordered General Sullivan and his soldiers to remove and clear out all Six Nation people from New York State. General Sullivan was ordered by Washington to capture as many prisoners as possible, of every age and sex.
What General Sullivan and his soldiers did was quite the opposite. It is Six Nations Oral Tradition that: General Sullivan and his soldiers raided villages where they knew there were no Indian men and raped the Indian women, cut their breasts off and grab the little indian babies by their tiny ankles and swung them around to smash their tiny heads against tree trunks. This atrocity is covered up by historians and is commonly referred to in their history books as "General Sullivan's Campaign of 1779". It is officially celebrated as a part of American History.
This is a part of American history that is difficult to find, even hidden, because it is so evil. This shows further, what evil was actually going on not only during this "Sullivan Campaign", but also during the Revolutionary War and to this present day. This "wartime sexual violence against indian women" was common during the American Revolutionary War and continued on through out the formation of the United States and to this day. The atrocities committed during the Sullivan campaign were not a one-time event, before or after.
In the "Canadian Archives" the French were even taken aback by what the Americans were doing to the Indians, during this time. The French said even they, did not shoot the Indians on sight, as many of the American farmers were doing.
The following quote is offered, from Lieutenant William Barton's Journal- 1779, Revolutionary War. Kept by the lieutenant, in First New Jersey Continental Regiment during Major John Sullivan's Expedition against Six Nations of Indians in 1779 (proceeding New Jersey Historical Society, II, p.31). Lieutenant Barton, written in his own words, describes how he "send out a party for some dead indians... towards morning found them, and skin two of them from their hips down for bootlegging; one pair for the major, the other for himself" (note: good luck in trying to find this journal, volume II, p.31)
Now let us recall article 20.) "Cornplanter's 1790 speech to George Washington". First paragraph, halfway down, where Cornplanter's speech to Washington states: " when your army entered the country of Six Nations, we called you the Town Destroyer and to this day, when that name is heard, are women look behind them and turned pale, and our children cling close to the neck of their mothers". This passage can be viewed as a description of "wartime sexual violence against Indian women" and a link to the "raping of indian women and cutting off their breasts and grabbing babies by their feet and whipping them around to smash their heads against tree trunks" during the Sullivan campaign of 1779 . But this passage of Cornplanter speech is also used by white historians to explain away and hide the truth about what General Sullivan and his soldiers did in 1779 as only "burning cornfields and cutting down fruit trees". I can assure you, Six-Nation Women would not react so strongly, as to "...our women look behind them and turned pale and our children cling close to the neck of their mothers..." if General Sullivan soldiers were only and simply "burning corn fields and cutting down fruit trees". The oral tradition of atrocities against indian women that is presented here, was going on before, during and after the Revolutionary War. To this day for example, you have the "Murdered, Missing Indigenous Women" inquiries.
Six-Nation Women, are Sovereign Women of a Sovereign Nation. The Six-Nation Confederacy is a Sovereign, Matriarchal Society. As our Creator intended.
Perhaps only now, you can see in 2022, how ridiculous this explanation is, that white historians continue to present to this day and deny this Six Nation Oral Tradition. What has been explained here as "General Sullivan's Campaign of 1779", was to drive out and kill the Six-Nation People living in their own Six Nation Territory in what is now called New York State. This is an official New York State celebration and had a Centennial Celebration with leather bound souvenir books.
Patriarchal Empire's "Wartime Sexual Violence against Women," has been historically documented for thousands of years. Not by Scholars wanting to uncover the truth, but by the Patriarchal Empire's themselves, bragging about what they do to their enemie's women.
What Patriarcal Empires do to women during wartime, are atrocities against all women. This truth must be brought forth, documented and declared a specific War Crime. I believe only the women of the world can make this happen. The women of Patriarchal Empires and Societies must speak out about this, or it will continue to happen. White People, only listen to White People. The Women of Matriarchal Societies like my mother, have always spoken about these war crimes, through our Oral Tradition. The Men of Patriarchal Empires and Societies do not report it as specific War Crime and they will never declare it a War Crime. I have never heard of this, spoken as a specific War crime committed against women. You never hear about these "sexual atrocities committed against women" during wars. Have you ever heard of this before? I would say it happens during every war of Patriarchal Empire's or Empire wars against Indigenous People of the world.
This is the difference between societies governed by women and societies governed by men. Matriarchal vs. Patriarchal societies. Are you white women listening, this is the source of all the discrimination you face by your own white men. Nothing will change for you, until you except this awful truth.
When was the last time you heard in the news, that "soldiers were raping women and cutting their breasts off?" Yet, in my opinion, this occurs in every Patriarchal Empire war to present day.
It should be noted that Joseph Brandt expressed his viewpoint on this " war time violence against women" as it is being described in this article. He seen these atrocities being committed during the Revolutionary War by the American soliders. He said Six Nation men do not commit this violence against women, because Six Nations is a society where our women are honored,
The Six Nations Confederacy is a Matriarchal Society. The women are the ones who decide who is going to be a Chief. And the Clan Mother can remove this Chief title from a man for wrongdoings. The three things that will cause immediate removal of a Chief's title, is if a Chief commits: Murder, Rape or Theft. You cannot imagine any Patriarchal Empire Leader being removed immediately for Rape. In fact these Empire leaders have looked upon Rape of women, as their right as the Leader. Murder and Theft are also the right of a Patriarchal Empire Leader.
Whatever nations in the past that have committed these "War Crimes Against Women", including Canada and the United States, must admit to these war crimes against women. You cannot correct a problem until you truthfully admit you have a problem and specifically admit to what that problem is.
It is the only way to stop it, to tell the truth of all Nations that have this history. Including Canada, the United States and all Patriarchal Empires of Europe . The "raping of women and cutting off their breasts" is a proud, Patriarchal Empire War Tradition that goes back thousands of years. You can go back to the patriarchal Roman Empire to find this, carved in stone for all to know forever. This is what happens to your women when you go against a Patriarchal Empire.
According to a documentary series on Canadian Educational Channel 19, TVO- Digging Up Britain- "...during the Roman Empire occupation of Britain, there was an uprising by Saxon Noble Men. The Romans put down the uprising and killed the Noble Men who were behind the uprising. The Roman soldiers then rounded up all the Saxon Noble Women and hung them up naked. The Roman soldiers then cut off their breasts and sewed their breasts to the women's mouths to make it look like the women were eating their own breasts. The Roman soldiers then inserted a long pointed pole into each of the women, lengthwise...". Also "...the Romans practiced infanticide...".
This above explanation was carved into stone by the Patriarchal Roman Empire to proudly show, this is what happens to your women, if you dare go against their Patriarchal Empire.
During World War I, German women were raped and had their breasts cut off. Think not, go ask German Scholars and historians about their real German history. There is a scholar in Canada who specialize in this field of study, of the "Wartime Sexual Violence against Women". It should be noted that this scholar is a woman. You probably have never heard of this woman or her field of study.
Why have you not heard of this "Wartime Sexual Violence against Women," before? I have come across a few authors of anthropological and historical books written on Six-Nation People and Native Americans that use the following Aesop's Tale in the beginning of their book, as an allegory, as to why they purposefully omit the truth in the history books that they write. Perhaps there was a slight "pang" in their conscience and chose to pass it along to their colleagues. Briefly, The tale goes as follows: a Hunter of Lions and a Lion, must help each other during a journey they must take together. Both agree not to harm the other, because they need each other to successfully complete this journey. As they are walking along on this journey, they come upon a large, marble sculpture. It is a statue of a Hunter who triumphantly, has just killed a Lion. The sculpture shows the Hunter standing with one foot on top of the dead Lion's body. The Hunter explains to the Lion, you never see any sculptures showing the Lion triumphantly killing the Hunter and the Lion triumphantly standing over the dead Hunter's body. The Hunter simply explains to the Lion: THIS IS BECAUSE YOU LIONS DO NOT HAVE ANY SCULPTORS.
This is the systemic racism against Indigenous People that exists in all Patriarchal History books and Universities to this day. In the major universities across America, the professor's have always known the truth about "wartime sexual atrocities" that are committed against women. They know where the books are that reveal this, they can tell you how to find them, but they keep them hidden, for the most part. I will give you an example of this. A few years ago, I found a 3 volume biography on George Washington written by the author- Rupert Hughes. I searched WorldCat and could not find this book in any public Library. I did find a few copies in some of the major universities in the U.S. I called up one of these College Libraries and asked a librarian if they had an e-copy to read or a PDF to get it "printed on demand", as it is a Public Domain book. This college Librarian's first question to me was "why do you want to read this book?" Can you imagine my shock at this librarians question. Isn't that the whole purpose of a library, to disseminate information to the public and a college library at that. Upon further questioning, the librarian stated that the "sponsor" would only give the e-copy of this book to the university with a "stipulation". This "stipulation" was that "only college students and staff of the University were allowed to view this book". I asked for the name of the "sponsor" and she said "I do not have that information". After my repeated questioning, the librarian finally said: "the public can not view this book, but you may be able to get a visitor's pass to view the book". Emphasis on the word MAY. And it sounded like I would have to go to the College University Library to "view" the e-copy of this book. Now I am not presenting this to say you must believe some or everything that is in this book. I'm presenting this to show, that we do not live in a society were all viewpoints are available for discussion in the educational system and society at large. So what are the public and collage/university libraries for? What is the educational system for? We are living in a Patriarchal Society. The only place you, the public can find this book to read, is for sale, used, on the internet,
How many other books are out there like this? I just happened to stumble upon this one book title, in a used book store. The college and universities know about this and other books. The professors at these college and universities know about these other books, but they keep them hidden. How many other books are kept hidden like this, from the American/Canadian people and students?
It is a Six Nation Longhouse teaching that "you could take 12 of our children and send them to the White Man's School. We doubt one of them would come back and help the people". Now, in this teaching, it does not say the other children will not come back, it simply says "we doubt one one will come back and help the people". As in all our teachings, we are supposed to use the mind the Creator gave to each one of us and think about this, in all the ways it may appear during our lifetime. What I see now, is that when those educated Six Nation children come back, they come back not to help the people, but to infect other Six Nation People with the lies of the patriarchal colonists that they learned in college and to disregard and not believe their own oral traditions. To not listen to their elders.
A Six Nations Confederacy Child goes into the schools and comes out declaring themselves: "First Nations of Canada"- which is a "Ward of Canada", no longer an "Ally to the Crown".
These colleges of the colonizers, are now trying to get our own children to change us. The indigenous college students are indoctrinated and brainwashed into looking down on their own indigenous people from the viewpoint of the patriarchal teachings of these colonial colleges. "The bear cannot go to college to learn how to be the bear." Indigenous Studies Programs, no matter how well-meaning, cannot teach the indian how to be an indian.
There is a saying- When a person hates their own people, It also means they hate themselves. There is no escaping this. Also, when a person assimulates to take on a colonizing people's culture, religion and societal beliefs, the people of that colonizing culture will say to that person's face: pleasant things and say welcome. But behind that assimulated person's back, the colonizers will say- "look at that person, they turned their back on their own people, how can you ever trust a person who does that". I have been actually told this by a white co-worker, upon learning that I refuse to assimilate. And that colonizing culture will never respect that person who assimulated, because they turned their back on their own people. This is the nature of colonization, as so expressed around the world.
Now I understand, this is a lot to take in and is part of a much larger discussion. But as is continually said in these writings, this is offered for your consideration and discussion in your circle. Just about everybody has a smartphone and you can start looking there, to try to find out the truth for yourself. But also understand that your phone will slant your searches according to your previous searches and the psychological profile that "they" have on everyone, who has a smartphone. And anyone, can and do, buy your search history, psychological profile and every stroke you make on your phone. From governments, businesses, corporations and hackers. Everyone is microtargeted now. They know your every move, even before you make the move.
The software Engineers who worked on and developed the social media platforms have said, that if they can get 75 of your "likes", they know you better than your friends. If they can get 150 of your "likes", they know you better than your spouse. And if they can get 300 of your "likes" they know you better than your parents. They may actually know you better, than you know yourself. LOL
In closing, I was undecided as whether to include the following or not. After writing this article, I had a dream about my grandmother. I was close to her, she died when I was a teenager and I have never had a dream about her before. In this dream, my grandmother suddenly appeared, gave me a hug and kissed me and then disappear just as quickly as she appeared. I immediately went looking for her in my dream, but I realized I wasn't supposed to do that and stopped. Perhaps only Indian people will understand what this means. Perhaps only I understand what this means.
